The Beacon Group welcomes Matt O'Neill
Automation Executive Joins Supply Chain Execution Firm
June 4, 2025 - Haverhill, MA – The Beacon Group, a supply chain, and logistics
solutions firm, has hired Matt O’Neill as Senior Vice President, Automation.
Matt’s early experience in an Industrial Engineering role at UPS provided a strong data
analytics foundation that has proven to be invaluable. His designs and engineered
solutions have been implemented in both startups and Fortune 500 Companies. His
experience helps shape his approach to creating reliable, highly efficient automation
solutions. Additionally, Matt has been a guest speaker for several colleges and
universities providing insight to students entering the world of supply chain.
“After three decades in the automation industry, I can honestly say this is the most exciting opportunity of my career,” stated O’Neill. “Joining Beacon will allow me to fully leverage my professional experience to develop, execute, and deliver the highest quality projects to our customers,” O’Neill concluded

A Seton Hall graduate, Matt, will oversee the automation department of The Beacon Group’s business model.
Matt resides in Bradley Beach, NJ with his wife Melissa and his two sons.

The Beacon Group welcomes Matthew Cameron
Supply Chain Solutions Provider hires Senior VP, Solutions & Applications
May 1, 2025 - Haverhill, MA – The Beacon Group, a supply chain, and logistics solutions
firm, has hired Matthew Cameron as Senior Vice President, Solutions & Applications.
Matt has spent his career improving both the physical layout of and operation within
hundreds of warehouses across the country. Starting out focused on labor standards,
then managing all engineering at a 3PL, supply chain consulting and most recently
managing a team of design engineers focused on data driven turnkey solutions and
owning pricing for all pick/pack/ship solutions for a leading US integrator.
“I am beyond excited to join the Beacon team” stated Cameron. “This new role will allow me to fully leverage my abilities in managing and implementing major system integration projects on a national and international scale. A perfect fit for me,” Cameron continued.
“Matt is an incredible hire for us,” George Yfantopulos, CEO of Beacon, explained. “His depth and background managing massive material handling systems is exactly what we need as we strategically grow our business.”
Cameron, a University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, has served as the lead design engineer for many seven and eight figure projects in more than forty states. Most recently Matt led the Design of a near $30 million project in Georgia.
“Beacon’s portfolio of business sectors including e-Commerce, healthcare, biotech, retail, and industrial distribution affords us the opportunity to bring on more talented professionals such as Matt.,” Yfantopulos concluded.
Matt will manage the Engineering Department from Beacon’s new offices in Chicago, IL.
Matt resides in Saint Charles, IL with his wife Katelynn and their three young sons.

The Beacon Group attended the MODEX Trade Show and Conference the week of March 11-14. MODEX is a top industry event in the supply chain, logistics, and material handling field. A great week of learning, networking, and client meetings (and we even got a nice picture of the team!).
