The Beacon Group's Bob Hutson joins The New Warehouse Podcast

From "The New Warehouse" LinkedIn page:

Most people think Supply Chain "Optimization" just means rearranging the shelves.
It’s the biggest myth in our industry. 📉
Companies often view Supply Chain optimization as a simple facility makeover.
They think if they fix the four walls, they fix the business.
But true optimization isn't about the building. It’s about the math of your money, Bob Hutson shares.
It is a complex equation involving:
📈 Liquidity and Cash Flow
🚚 Total Transportation Spend
📦 Inventory Carrying Costs
🏢 Real Estate Asset Strategy
If you start the process by pointing at a map and saying, "I need space here," you’ve already skipped the most important step.
That’s where The Beacon Group changes the narrative.
They don't just hand over the keys; they engage at the conceptual stage.
They use foresight and technology to model the financial reality before a lease is ever signed.
Don't just look for a landlord. Look for a partner who understands the entire ecosystem.
